Happy 4th of July
Happy 4th of July bloggers! I’m taking a much needed week off. I have 2 client portals that I’m almost done with and then I’m resting!! I pray you have a great 4th of July with you/your family and stay cool in this hot, hot Texas weather.
Until next time….I’ll end with my 2 most favorite subjects. My children. Luke and Hannah. Yes, they are tough to shoot and yes…they are over the top adorable. (I affirm you) LOL…hugs!! A

4 week Sneak peek!
Hello blog friends, I am here…I am alive…I’m way behind. (insert smile here) I always put my clients first and get them on their proofing portals before I get a chance to blog. Believe it or not…these pictures below are 3 weeks worth of shoots! So….here is a snap shot glimpse of my favs. I plan to fully post each shoot in the next week. Until then…enjoy!
Pam + Greg: This is the wedding that I was told was a backyard wedding. Little did I know it was a backyard behind a beautiful log cabin mansion on 100 acres.
A seriously gorgeous and Godly wedding.

Workshop pic below: Model Jessica: ….and yes…this workshop changed my life and will change my photography once again! (thank you KELLY!!)

My client Stephanie and her daughter Demaris below. Gorgeous! Stephanie found me on facebook and we reconnected with her mom/daughter shoot. I loved this shoot..wait till you see the full shoot! Wow..so fun.

Senior Shoot: Krystyna Class of 2009 Need I say more? I totally agree…a model in the making!

Robbie + Brian: Wedding — Utterly charming couple and crazy in love. Sweet, sweet wedding at the TWU chapel in the woods. My favorite place to shoot weddings!! I have so much more to post of them! Coming!!

Amanda: Senior Shoot—Again…another gorgeous model Senior. I love Amanda’s story. I’ll post more when I post the entire blog.

Thanks for peeking bloggers and for your patience! More to come…I promise. Hugs, A

The Akins girls – Part 2 (and family!)
Finally bloggers…I’m back! Please forgive my delay. I’m a few photoshoots behind in blogging and I’m not complaining. Thank you clients for the work. I am becoming more and more grateful to my clients as they are contributing to my family and this allows me to stay at home with my special babes.
This said, PART 2 of the AKINS family!! Yay! I have to say…this photoshoot was a busy, busy one! These girls are so fun and so sweet. I never had a sister. But I must say….watching those girls interact and run around made me think of what it would have been like. Thank you Heather and Dave for a fun filled shoot! big hugs, Andrea

The Akins girls — Part 1
Well…Texas weather…, I had a photoshoot this am and headed out early with the sun peeking out of the clouds, blue skies and beautiful. As I kept driving…I saw gray! I started to panic and thought…well, it should clear over. Ugh! (big sigh) It did not. I arrived on the scene of the Akins residence and sure enough Heather (the mom) had a towel on her head and said “what do you think?”. Basically, Heather really wanted blue skies for her family shoot. So, the girls had not gotten ready yet and they were bouncing around the house in their jammies. Heather and I go way back so we got to talking and I just could not help myself..I said “can I shoot them with their jammies and all?”. So..here you go Heather! I’ll see you in 2 weeks! (pray for BLUE skies!) The girls are just over the top adorable! I love them. Hugs! A

Commercial job – Cheeky Designs!
What fun! I met a wonderful lady named Gretchen. Isn’t that a great name? I met her through an old High School buddy. Yes..20 years has gone by fast. This said, facebook is an amazing thing. I met up with Gretchen at a local park and she was my 2nd shoot for the day. We busted this shoot out for her commercial business “Cheeky Designs”. I was like a kid watching her thinking…’me next, me next!’. I can only imagine what she hears with one of her parties of 20 girls& boys!! And yes…she does HUGE parties of any kind. Very cool. I’m hiring her for Luke’s 4th bday. I think it’s a great idea and I’m all about avoiding the bouncy house. LOL. Enjoy! hugs,
